In a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together all of the wet ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and gently mix together, do not over mix!
Heat a griddle over low heat
Add 1/4 cup scoops of batter to the fully heated pan, flip when golden
Be careful about the temperature of your pan. If the temperature is too high, they will burn/cook too fast on the outside. Low and slow is the best way to cook pancakes.
I do not grease my pan. If using a nonstick pan, when they are golden, they will come right off the pan to flip.
If adding any option ingredients such as chocolate chips, fruits, etc. mix those in the dry ingredients before adding in the wet ingredients. Or else you run the risk of over-mixing your batter.
